Oka National Park is in fact a provincial park in Quebec, located in the junction of Ottawa river and St-Lawrence river in the outskirts of Montreal. The proximity of the big city is not noticeable at all.

The park is sitting on Ottawa river with number of islands. Canoeing and kayaking might be weather dependent. But on a good day you can make long trip along and across the river. There is also a boat launch if you camp with the motor boat.

The campsites vary by the size and by the type. You can pitch your own tent or park an RV. But can also book a cabin or a pre-built Huttopia tent (see above image).
